Famous Poems by Natalie Cribari
About the Tattoo. Natalie was in Dauphin County Prison when she created her most famous poems and drew the Heaven Awaits tattoo. She wanted to get it as soon as she got out of jail, and could afford it. She had a job, was going to meetings, had a sponsor and was looking forward in life, but that all changed on March 28th 2006 when she passed from a heroin overdose. Her body had been clean for over 100 days but was too weak in the end. In her memory many of her family members and friends got the Heaven Awaits tattoo. It became the icon of Natalie’s legacy and cause.
